I've been able to create an AVI that I'm converting to DVD using ConvertXToDVD. Everything creates fine and the DVD is completely playable. Now here's the problem: If I play just the VOB file using PowerDVD the video plays fine all the way to the end then stops. But if I play the DVD in my DVD player, it plays continuously, looping back to the beginning. Since this is a homemade intro for my theater, I want it to play just once.
What can I do with this? Do I need to edit the IFO file?
Any help will be appreciated.
TIA,
Chuck

The whole disc plays through over and over ? Of just one title ?
If it is the whole disc, go into the general or authoring settings in ConvertXtoDVD and untick the Loop box.
As for the disc you already have, I suspect you can use PGCEdit to stop the looping, but I'm not sure how.Read my blog here.

No problem. Post commands are basically instructions for the dvd player AFTER something is played - in your case the title plays all the way through and then the post commands is instructing the dvd player to play it again. By deleting everything in the post commands the dvd player has no instructions so it will just end playback.Originally Posted by Chas821
