I have several old imovie dvds I would like to download on my 5th generation 30 gb IPOD. old Quick time versions of IMovie work fine, but so far I have no idea how one converts dvd's created in IMovie. I tried using FF mpegX but when I dropped the dvd image on to the convert side of FF it said the conversion was not allowed.![]()

If these discs aren't encrypted (and they should not be if you used iDVD), simply drag the VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD to your Desktop. Then proceed with ffmpegX or MPEG Streamclip. You'll need the MPEG2 codec from Apple in order to use MPEG Streamclip wth VOB source material.
