    Has anyone got Vista and tried this? It's about the only thing I'm interested in if it works as well as they say it does. I have to do work where I sit and listen to an audio tape and then type it out. It would be nice if I could just repeat what is being said and have it being typed out as I speak so that my hands are free. The work pays well, so I would actually invest in Vista if it works well. Anyone?

    I am not sure if what I saw is true, but that feature failed miserably during a demostration, the video was posted in a website I can't remember.

    Yeah, I saw the video. But I did some dictation for a presentation on on VISTA and the people doing the presentation said that after "teaching" it for about 10 to 15 minutes, he was able to write out a letter without any problems.

    The VR apps I've seen so far are horrible. I'm just hoping with a bit of training, I can get that to do my work more easily.

    It seemed Vista did a pretty good job understanding him - his problem was that he was trying to write code (case sensitive).
