Lite-On LVW-5115GHC recording via scart question

I have had this unit for some time now and it does work well, however the record button dosnt function when trying to record something via scart ie: a video recorder or sky, is there a way round this or is it only possible via the rf cables.

If the Lite-On provides an SCART connection, it will record from that connection if the source is set to that connection. Setup has defaults. There is a source button on the remote. The guider allows source selection.

Time to read the manual. If you don;t have it, it should be available on the Lite-On website.
