Ok so i've searched these forums for a bit trying to find out how to record avi (Uncompressed or using PicVideo MJPEG) with my new ATi TV Wonder 650. But with no luck.
Now i'm used to tuners i've had a couple ATis and a Hauppauge in the past. My problem is the ATI software doesn't allow for AVI unless its compressed via DivX, but I want to use my recordings for XviD and just be able to have the flexibility of an AVI file. Using Vdub and VituralVCR I am able to get video no problem and my video size is great. My problem is I cannot get Audio when using those other programs, with ATIs Catalyst audio isnt a problem.
I'm using S-Video with composite (Have also tried just straight composite) and when I select that option I get video but no audio in the above programs. With my other tuners I used to have a line going from Sound Card Line In to the tuner, but this has no port and it draws it's audio from the PCI slot. My question is how do I record audio from the PCI slot, maybe there is a setting I'm missing or what not. Any help will be appreciated.
Specs are:
Athlon 2600+
Abit NFS-7
1GB 3200DDR
500GB HDD space total
Sound Blaster Live 5.1
ATi 9800pro
ATi TV Wonder 650.
