I'm doing some research on how one might go about creating DVD's with both still images, like .jpgs, video and if it's possible HD video.

I've got a couple specific questions, but my biggest concern is creating smooth transitions between each still image and between still images and video. Additionally, this DVD would probably need to be created with minimial or no menus and the ability to play on repeat. I'm also very interested in what I would need to create this DVD using some HD content.

Could anyone offer any recommendations as far what PC/Mac I would need to purchase as well as any software recommendations.

I'm completely new at this and just seeing how feasible it might be...

    Thanks for ANY input!

  2. I have used Ulead CD & DVD PictureShow and you can make DVD Picture slide shows and add a video in the same compilation. As far I know with DVD movies all the videos have to be the same size. I have never tried doing all sorts of different resolutions so I could be wrong.
