I am trying to burn a DVD of my daughter's first year for her birthday party tomorrow. I am using the Click to DVD software that came on my computer. I am a complete novice at this, but thought I was doing great - I created the whole slide show and was ready to create the DVD. However, I keep getting the same error message: "Cannot create the DVD image because of an error. The DVD image will not be written to the disc." This occurs after a box with a computer icon which says "converting" goes through a series of steps including: "separating audio & video", "creating slide show", "creating chapter menu" and "creating DVD image on the hard disc drive...1 of 6". Can anyone offer any help?

  2. Hello,

I don't know anything about the application you are using but off the top of my head I am
wondering if you have enough hard drive space to create the DVD? Your profile says 120GB, but maybe you have used too much of it. You probably need twice the amount of a DVD or about 8 to 9 GB free to complete the task what with the intermediate files that are needed and such.

Either that or the image is too large to fit a disc. Image '1 of 6' on the hard drive may be the clue.

Can you save the image to your hd as an iso or video ts folder?
