    Hello,
I am really interested in buying a universal remote after seeing a friend's Logitec Harmony 880. I was doing a little research/comparison, so I thought I'd post here to hear any user reviews, etc. I am tryiing to decide between the Harman Kardon TC 30 and Logitech Harmony 720, since these appear to be the newest and sleakest units at a reasonable cost. One thing I can't figure out however, is why is the TC 30 less expensive than Logitech's 720 or even the older 880? All these units get great reviews from CNET, and I can't figure out why the I can find the TC 30 about $70.00 less than the comparible 720. It's even less than the older 880! Is this just a case of buyers luck, is Logitech overpriced, or does the Logitech have something Harman Kardon doesn't?

  2. This is obviously off topic but on topic in a roundabout sort of way.

In terms of PC use, no one can really talk that badly of Logitech products. Everyone that I have ever had has been great quality and exactly as advertised.

As for Harmon Kardon .. I've never owned anything PC related from this company but I do know for sure that their stereo products are some of the best on the market. Not at the top of the scale, but pretty close. I can only assume their other products to be just as great quality.

Ok thanks for the advice. Since no one else has chimed in with anything bad about H.K. I might as well save myself some cash and go with them....

A bit of a daft response, but if you liked your friend's Harmony 880, why don't you buy the same model?

I'm waiting for the Harmoney 1000 to make it to the uk, they look great
