  1. I have been trying to make a DVD-R play in my Toshiba SD-3750. I have followed several mthods but none seem to work unless I play it in my PC. I used the procedures from www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm; here's a summary:

    1. I rip the DVD using DVD Decrypter.
    2. I analyzed the structure.
    3. I stripped and created new ifo files.
    4. I made the disc region free.
    5. I burned the files using NERO.

I put the thing into my stand-alone DVD player and I get an error!!!

What do I need to do to make this process work???? Help Me PLEASE!!!

Try playing it in different players to determine if it's a player or an authoring problem.

  3. I have a Toshiba SD-2109 which will not play ANYTHING except professionally created DVDs. No DVD-R, -RW, VCD, SVCD, audio CD, mp3, NADA.
Perhaps this sort of thing is happening to you. Have you checked the compatibility chart?

In the real world, those charts don't really mean that much.
