    I have this Pioneer DVR-231 DVD Recorder and last sunday it played just fine but last night it wont play ANY dvds. It said that they were not compadable. Can anyone help! Manels

    Try cleaning the drive. If that doesn't solve it it is likely that your unit has failed.

    You could try removing power to get the unit to reset (usually 5 minutes or more).

    However, I suspect the drive has failed.
