Tried playing a dvd disk with DivX movie burned on it, get "Bad Disk" error.

I tried several disks all the same - Standard dvd movies play fine.
I also have a Phillips DVP642, plays them all fine (Great player).

    I purchased 2 SD-3990, both give error.
    - Did I get a couple dud players?

    Burnt files using Nero
Files are placed into seperate folders. Any ideas??

    Thanks

Most players don't like the files in folders.

Most likely you are having a media issue. From the specs, this player does not support +R media. Although it could also be a brand/type issue.
