    I'm wondering how I can preview video files that I'm downloading - using Windows Media Player 9. I used to be able to see a bit of what I had downloaded, but now everytime it just says: Windows Media Player encountered and unknown error.

    Anyone know how I might be able to fix this bug and get back to previewing?

    VLC is pretty good at playing partially downloaded/incomplete videos
