    Hi Pals!
I've been having the following problem lately: I go into Windows Explorer and when I click-select an avi file the WExplorer gives me an error message or turns off and desktop refreshes and the like. Once it gave me an error message asking to send error report to MS. I pressed the link for the technical details and an error log window appeared without a facility of copying the log. Tried to locate the temp file but could not, so I took some screen shots of the error report (which was too long by the by) and they are below, just in case you good people can help.

THE SCREEN SHOT OF THE ERROR REPORT:

  2. It's not Internet Explorer you are having problems with, its Windows Explorer, explorer.exe is the desktop environment. Clicking on the AVI will tell Explorer to make a little preview of it in your window, im betting this is causing the crash. This can happen if any of your codecs have become corrupt/damaged, or two or more are in conflict with each other. Uninstall/reinstall any 3rd party codecs such as Xvid/Divx/AC3 etc, or uninstall them all, then reinstall one at a time to see which one is causing the problem.
