Well i picked up Clone DVD
http://www.clonedvd.net
to make some backup of my DVD's, well everything started out great, but recently i have had a problem where the ring of what was burned on the DVD has changed.
When i first used the program to burn it burned fine, i grabbed the copied DVD and played it on my Xbox and Xbox 360, it works perfect. This is a pic of how it looked like after it burned.
now after a while of burning my DVD library, my burned DVDs are looking like this
Now i see that in the first image the program burned the movie from the begining (middle of the DVD) towards the end. the second image is now burning from the end to the middle of the blank DVD.
Now after my movies being burned from the end to the middle of the DVD it does not play on my Xbox. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you for your response by the way.
Oh and if it helps i have CloneDVD 4, i also have Nero StartSmart. Currently im using the Nero Burn Engine for Clone DVD4, but in the program i can change to VSO Nunr Engine and Internal Burn Engine. -
I meant the brand of blanks discs.
There is only one reliable dual layer disc, and that is verbatim. Every other brand is hit and miss.
Secondly, there is only one good dual layer buring application - imgburn 2. I suggest you get some verbatim DL blanks and use imgburn 2 to burn and see if you have a better time of it.Read my blog here.

Hmm actually the old DVD+R DL i was using was also Memorex, and they worked fine so im thinking it is not the DVD's.

BTNH Fan,
First, I'm very sorry to tell you this, but the clonedvd you bought has nothing to do with the real CloneDVD. The website you mentioned is being hosted in China, where they're allowed to continue to run their scam. They ripped off the name CloneDVD years ago, and have tricked many unfortunate people into buying their inferior product at a vastly inflated price. You can read more about these con artists here. The real CloneDVD is sold at the slysoft website.
The first picture you posted is what a correct burn should look like. Since you're using dual layer disks, the second picture looks like the first layer was completely filled, and then what didn't fit on the first layer was burned to the second layer (from the outside in). That means the layer break is way off. The data should have been split between layers approximately equally, with any extra going into the first layer.
The layer break is selected by the software, so it's the software that is screwing up.
The best solution to the layer break messup would be to use ImgBurn for the burning part. It wouldn't allow such a horrible layer break selection, and would reset it.
I see these were your first posts here, so welcome to VideoHelp. -

BTNH Fan,
Yes, those are the scammers.
I've used CloneDVD for a couple of years, and really like it, but you should make up your own mind. Just download the trial, which is fully functional. You'll have 21 days to evaluate it to see if you want to buy it. It costs $39.00, but in the 21 day trial period you might be able to find a discount coupon by using google. They regularly do offer these coupons (generally $5-$10 off), through one place or another.
Just make sure you get the trial from, and/or buy it from slysoft.com, and no place else.
It's up to you if you delete the scamware you already have. In the thread I provided the link to, there was a person who praised it, but I got the distinct impression the recommendation was from a shill. On the other hand, they've already got your money, so it doesn't cost you anything to see if it has any feature at all that you can use.
If it's any consolation to you, I have a whole BIG box of @#$%ware that I've bought over the years.
