    I have a pretty big .wmv file and need to know whether it is possible to convert it into a smaller size? I would also like to know if you can convert .wmv to other formats, I looked at the 'Hot To ... Convert' guide but found none.

    Try running it through Window Media Encoder and reduce the bitrate to make it smaller. (And reduce the quality) Or you can try a program like SUPER and output to a different format.

    Is it possible to split the video into smaller videos? It is roughly 15 mins and if I can reduce to it to say.. three wmv files and then just call them 'part 1, 2, 3' etc.

    Download link for WME? Tried it through microsoft.com but you need to validate.
