Ok, so i am a bit new to the whole dvd burning thing. But with the help of my sister and some friends, I've gotten the hang of it.
Here is my problem. When I burn the dvd's they play just fine on my Toshiba standalone dvd player, however, when i put them in my pioneer htd-520 5 disk player, they will play for a few seconds and then just sit there.
I am using dynex dvd-r 16x write. i am downloading dvds in .avi format and then using winavi to convert them to the dvd format. i use nero premium to burn the dvds. as far as i know, i'm doing everything right.
it was suggested to me to used either sony or verbaitum dvd-r's because they are at a higher quality, but i don't wanna go and blow my money on another dvd spindle for them to not work. i did clean my dvd player, so i know it is all good to go, but the stupid things still didn't work.
please help!!!
