Parental Password Problem

I have a parental password on my DVD Player and I don't know the password. How do I take the password off? I tryed the reset button and the default password 1234 and 0000, nothing works. What am I'm to do?

What model ?

The one I have simply state's to head into the setup menu , and to enter a 6 digit code found in the back of the manual , do it twice , and turn it off and it's back to normal .

The model DVD Player is Tredex, but I don't have a manual book and the password ask for a 4 digit code. I have a code book from Direct TV with Tredex code, now they have a 6 digit code. I did try to enter that code but it only allow 4 digits. Do you have another idea?
