  1. Hi,

    I am using Cucusoft converter 7.07 Pro. I am having problem whenver i try to convert any avi movie to DVD format it got no sound. However, it has sound when i convert any avi movie to VCD format.
    Also, I checked the output file or the converted DVD disc and i found Audio_TS folder is always empty.

    Can anyone help me out?

    The AUDIO_TS folder is always empty. It's not used for anything at present. The audio is muxed with the video in the VOB files.

    What format was your AVI audio? Most Xvid type videos use MP3. Drop the AVI type video into Gspot 2.60 and see what audio it's using. Look particularly in the audio section and see if the VBR audio indicator is lit. If so, that may be your problem.

    You would need to convert the VBR to MP3 CBR or another format. VirtualDub Mod can do that. Save out the audio with full processing as a WAV, then either use that in your converter or add it back in and convert to MP3 CBR, then try it in your converter program.     Another possibility is AC3 audio.

    Personally, I would use ConvertXToDVD instead or the older freeware version DivxToDVD. They have a better record of conversion.
