Hello.
I'm authoring a DVD consisting of 8 video sessions. All sessions have been encoded using 2-pass VBR by Sony Vegas's Mainconcept MPEG-2 encoder. The majority of sessions have been encoded at 6200 Mbps, but 2 of them are higher at 6,500 Mbps. Is this ok, as i'm looking for maximum compatibility for my master.
All audio has been encoded separately as AC3 with the same bitrates.
Thanks, hope to hear from someone soon.

I've seen many Retail DVD's with different Asset Types (either different bitrates or even different resolutions, etc...). So it must be ok.
How/what you use to Author might be a different issue...

thanks for the replies.
I assumed it would be allowed but needed to make sure so the money i put into duplication would not be wasted!!!
Thanks again.
