I think this is a long shot but, I was wondering if there was any software out there that would Rip a DVD while you watched it in full screen? Thanks for any help.

Ripping software is just reading the data from the disc. Since ripping involves copying all of the data on the disc (not just the video), you won't find any software that does both.

Besides which, ripping time is usually much shorter than playback time. In my case, 15-30 minutes.

if your computer is quick enough, you can use 2 different softwares at the same time - 1 to watch, 1 to rip. chances are, though, playback will be jerky.
