Noisy DVD-RW?

Hi to everyone. Just bought an Optiarc AD 5170A DVD-RW, burned successfully my first dvd,

but when i played a movie dvd, although it did ok , the player was speeding consistently,

producing a lot of noise. Is that normal? My old dvd player (sony ddu 1612) doesn't speeding

when playing a movie. Any suggestions?

Nothing you can do about playback speed, except get a different drive.
