I bought new lcd sony kdl 40s2010 and olivia 32 inch along wtih the rca upconvert dvd and the oppo 971. The question is when I hook rca to both of lcd tv via hdmi. it wont play the original movie (both rent and buy).
The screen show no input signal but when you insert the copy movie both of the tv play fine even upconvert to 720 or 1080i. This is happened with both tv when you connect via hdmi. I return and change for 3 time, still get the same result.
But when I connect the oppo no region player both of the original and copy movie play fine via hdmi connection.Anyone plese give me some idea what going on with me (because of HDCP or Macrovision) Thank in advance.....
