Has anyone Found an easy way past the new Sony Protection

I have the latest update to ANY DVD, but still cannot get DVD shrink to backup any Sony new release. Currently I am using Ripit4me with decrypter and then openimg the files in shrink to compress. Is there an easier way. Any DVD advertises it disables any protection, why then is Sony prtection as of February not disabled?

Assuming you're having trouble with a new release, no doubt AnyDVD will be updated shortly to address it. AnyDVD users say it's updated conscientiously. RipIt4Me implements a different strategy (PSL), and is less dependent on updates.

Shrink is an old program. My friends have encountered the same problem.

AnyDVD works nicely when you use CloneDVD2 (by the same company as AnyDVD). My friends have had no problems using CloneDVD2 (where Shrink failed).

My friend buys just about every released DVD. He backs everything up after his kids lost a few of his DVD's.

As long as you get past the newer protection & rip the movie shrink is still a great and easy backup tool.
I have yet to find a movie i was not able to backup with DVDFab Decrypter until saw III, then i used RipIt4Me for the first time, just becuase it ripped past the protection first.
I've never even wasted my $$ or had Anydvd on any of my pc's, i've alway's used free tool's to backup every dvd.

The only tool's i have ever used to backup any movie.

RipIt4Me (uses combination of programs)(1 movie only)

all work...and I have never had DVDShrink issues, although I have had to go in via PGCEdit and delete cells every so often before using
