Has anyone seen Snakes on a Plane yet ? Wow, great movie. I think the guy who gets it worst is the poor sod having a piddlle in the loo when the snake grabs his 'johnson'. Ouch, what a way to go !

  2. Hmm the use of the word awesome betrays a certain juvenile mindset, whereas "piddle" is a rather archaic word. A more streetwise Kid would have used "piss" or siphon. Putting the word johnson into inverted commas is both an attempt not to swear, or use "dirty" words, and to isolate the word from your sentence. Use of the spitfire logo might indicate Uk origin, as would piddle and loo. Liking this film would also reveal an unsophisticated sense of humor.

I don't know that I would call it awesome. It certainly lives up to it's title - there are snakes, and they are on a plane. You get pretty much exactly what the title promises - certainly nothing more, but probably nothing less. If you go in expecting to get just that, it is a nice diversion that doesn't overstay it's welcome. If you go in expecting anything more - more fool you. You read the title, didn't you ?

Loved it. By-the-book horror flick. Sit down with a few beers and a pizza and a load of mates - yu'll love it.

BTW, when the male steward throws a snake into the microwave, check the button he presses (you need to slow the frame rate right down) its clearly marked "SNAKE"

It's on DVD now. And I gotta say, I liked it. Yeah, it's not going to win an Oscar, but it was enjoyable none the less.

I agree with guns1inger, you get exactly what you're promised.

tbh i think the movie showcases everything that was ever wrong with modern day movies. i mean it must have been hard to think up a movie that has snakes...on a plane....

rabid, you got me ! Very perceptive. Uk origin, living in the mediterranean island of Cyprus. As for the words, well we try and keep this on light humoured basis, as you say, no swearing or dirty words. Ok, maybe 'awesome' is too big a word, but certainly good campy humour, which apparently it is meant to be. Its certainly a different angle on the usual bad-guys- trying- to- bump- off- witness story.
