Hi,
I have created a DVD from the backup (VOBs). Once it was done, I tried but could not open it in DVDShrink. Trying to fix it, I ran it through FixVTS but it does not help.
Once I try to open it in DVDShrink, I get an error message: "Failed to open "Path\Moviename\VTS_01_5.VOB The systen cannot find the file specified."
There is no such file. The DVD consists of four VOBs. What's wrong here? Thank you.

the ifos still have data references to things no longer available. try using ifoedit/vobextras to extract the movie only and rewrite the ifos. there's probably a guide here somewhere, but the one i used to link to is gone.

Thanks!
Actually I have done this: I have created DVD by creating new IFOs and BUPs. I had VOVs only as backup.
After this, I tried to open it in DVDShirink and got what I described above. -
do it again on the created ifo/vobs. select the largest ifo in ifoedit, note the vob-ids used. click vob extras. make sure everything but remux, split to 2, and rebuild pts is selected. check to make sure there is only one angle. if there's more, pick 1 to to keep, same with seemless branching. now go through the selection screens picking what you want to keep. strip it. all bad references will go away.

aedipuss, thanks.
I will give it a try but sounds complecated for my level of IFOEdit knowledge. Anyway, it looks like there is no other choice....
I tried it. I see VOV IDs but it does not tell me anything. I cannot find REMUX. It looks like it is too complicated for my level. Sorry...
P.S. After I deleted all IFOs and BUPs and created new ones I tried to open the DVD in DVDSHrink again. It gives an error message: Invalid data in VTS_01_4.VOB
That was happening last time. After I put it through FixVTS, it started giving error message about not exsisting VTS_01_5.VOB
