Ok, this is about to drive me nuts. I'm currently using the trial version of DVD-Lab Pro 2. It's a nice software, creates beautiful menus. I'm trying to use it to create a video DVD that contains all my current video files (already converted into VOB files) But every single time when I finish organizing, and clicked compile, the software never actually creates the DVD files, giving an error message. Could some who uses DVD-lab let me know why that is? Thanks in advance.

P.S. Another problem I have with the videos is that the videos are in different formats, some in NTSC and some are in PAL formats. I'm trying to fit all videos on one dvd, not sure how this'll affect the output dvd. Could someone explain it to me please?

first what's the error message say. second might be related to the error message, you can't combine pal and ntsc on the same disc.

Working backwards, it is technically non-compliant to put PAL and NTSC material on the same disc. Some players will play such a disc, some will not. Best option is to create a PAL disc and an NTSC disc. Second best option is to convert the format to a single format before authoring.

Without knowing what the error messages are it is difficult to give you any real answers, however DLP prefers elementary streams (separate video and audio streams). You should demux all your VOBs first, and test any AC3 audio with AC3fix. If you don'r demux before you get to DLP, then let DLP demux when it offers.

Also, different audio formats should be in different titlesets (VTS) or you may get audio playback issues. This is a DVD spec design issues, not a DLP issue.

Thank you all for replying so quickly. So what's a good tool to convert between NTSC and PAL?

DGPulldown is part of a solution. Read this guide and all the subsequent posts -> https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=300144 for a detail explanation. Things have simplified a little, however it depends on the footage you have.

NTSC 23.976fps to PAL 25 fps is very doable and can look very good. NTSC 29.97fps to PAL 25fps is difficult and will almost always look jerky because you have to shed frames.

Thank you so much, I'll try and see if that solves the problem.
