Hi All!
I have a catalogue of films on my one of my PC's that's hooked up to my TV, all encoded in MP4 using Nreo Recode. I recently aquired a copy of MCE and found the interface MUCH better than Nero Home which I was using. My dilema is that MCE will not play any of my MP4 files, either Nero or DiVX - even though WMP11 does?
Anybody know of a way around this? i.e. making them play. Don't want to go back to NeroHome![]()
Thanks in advance!

Do you have the proper codecs installed and registered? Possibly try uninstalling/reinstalling them again.

I found a registry fix somewhere on the net and it allows all my Nero MP4 files to be played in Windows Media Centre. Try this:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4]
"PerceivedType"="video"
"Content Type"="video/mp4"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Multimedia\W MPlayer\Extensions\.mp4]
"Runtime"=dword:00000007
"Permissions"=dword:0000000f
"UserApprovedOwning"="yes"
Or search the net for other instructions.
