I am just starting to copy all our family VHS tapes onto DVD with this unit. Last night when I was copying over one of them, the recorder stopped and said something like it couldnt copy the tape to the HD because of copy protection. The part that did record on the HD has 2 squares with a \ through one of them. Uhh... this is a home video, why would it do that?
