Yes, reduce the bitrate (And the quality) to reduce the size. Or use a different codec and encode to a different format. What format is it at present?

For 50 Minutes and 100MB, you might try WMV. It may work at that low of bitrate. Bitrate is set by the time VS the size. Reduce the framesize down also. And if all else fails, reduce the framerate down to maybe 15fps. Are you trying to fit it to a web upload? You can fit a video on a cell phone if you go low enough and don't care about quality. It's all in the encoder settings.

    And welcome to our forums.

Try decreasing the framerate down to 15fps and see what that does. If it's still watchable, that's one way. What is the present framesize? If it's like 720X480 (That's NTSC, I'm not sure if you use that or PAL), lower it to something like 352X240 or even smaller. You can drop the original into Gspot 2.60 and it will show you what the present settings are. 50 minutes is difficult to get down to 100MB. You might have to play with different settings to get it that low and still have it watchable. WMV is one of the better codecs for very small files, probably better than Xvid or others.

Another thought is the audio format. You can reduce the quality there and save some space. Gspot will also tell you how much space it is using. Probably a site like Youtube doesn't need much audio quality.
