    Sorry all,

I'm a total noobie when it comes to burning dvds.

What I would like to do is burn a copyrighted Dvd 9 onto a DVD-R DL and keep the copyright protection on the newly burned disc.

Also, if you have any suggestion on what hardware I should use or buy, I would be greatly appreciated it.

    Regards

You can't do it. The CSS copy protection can only be put on a disc through the pressing process. The key for the encryption is stored in an area of the disc not accessible to DVD burners.

So I would be able to burn a copyrighted dvd 9 to a dvd 9 media without the copyright protection?

If so, how would I go about this?

    Regards
