can the GE 1101p really handle svcd/xvcds at a 5000kbit rate?

I THREW MINE IN THE TRASH!! It would not play even standards compliant vcd/svcd. MAJOR PROBLEMS w/both. Buy a Pioneer, I did and it plays everything I throw at it.
I totally take the above statements back. I had MAJOR a/v sync issues and found out that they were caused by burning at 16x. Makes little sense I know but it is the same for PS-1 B/U's. Odd thing is Dreamcast B/U's work PERFECTLY at 16x. Anyway by lowering burn speed to 8x or below ALL problems Disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 MONTHS OF THROWING AWAY CD'S !!!!!!!!!! SVCD and XVCD BEAUTIFUL but MUST be burned slow...............
