(Just sharing some good fortune news)

I know that many of you toss your "Medium Error" and "bad Coasters"
burns in the trash and think nothing of it, but I usually throw mine
in a manila mailer, and write a letter explaining where I bought them
from, include a spindle label and a copy of my reciept,
and point out any differences in the media codes and what I experience
to the Manufacturers. I usually do TDK and Sony discs, and they
usually send me one or two 5 packs for my trouble.

Well, my last three (50pk) spindles of Circuit City bought Sonys, with the
SONY 16d1code, I got about 10 bad total due to medium error,
mostly all due to bad spots in the dye.
I gathered them up and put them in an envelope, and did my usual:
Sent a copy of the reciept, sent a spindle wrap, and a short letter
    of what my experience was.

today I came home and on my porch was a box the size a coffee
maker usually comes in. I opened it ( the label of course said it was from Sony)
and inside was a letter thanking me for being a loyal customer and reporting
my experiences with the media I purchased. But to my surprise,
instead of the two 5 packs they usually send, and that I usually expect,
today they sent a WHOLE 50 pack of Sony DVD-Rs, Sony08D1 code!!

    WAAAAYYYY COOOL!!!

I'd thought I'd just share this with everyone!
I know we usually gripe and pull apart every little
thing about the media we buy, test, and use,
but this I thought was really, really nice of them
    and showed good holiday spirit.

If anybody from Sony reads this, Thanks again and Merry Xmas!

I'm glad for you. Also, I appreciated that you posted a positive post. Most people ( including me) only post when they have a problem or something bad to say. Human nature, I guess.

    Merry Christmas!!!
