Hi folks
I've just been getting myself into receiving some feed from satellites out there.
I'd like to ask you how can one tell how a dvb-s broadcast is encoded and which colour sampling it uses? I mean, how can i tell if something is mpeg2 or mpeg4, its definition, if it's 4:2:2, etc.
A way i thought of doing it would be to record a little bit to my hard drive, but even then, what kind of software could analyze the file and tell its specs?
Thanks a lot for any help![]()
