Does anybody know if the MPEGator is any good?
this hardware capture card is normally sold for a 1000 bucks but i can buy one from a friend who has it but never used it or should i stay with my first intention to buy a pv231 caputre card???

No answer here but I would like to know also. Listed on pricewatch.com for $199. If this does an excellent job on Mpeg-1, adding this to a system along with DVCII, which is only good for MPeg-2 would be a good idea.
