    Hi Folks,

I'm sorry this is such a simple problem but I do need help just understanding i'm not stupid just need pointing in the write direction. I have been downloading files from file share wishing to burn my downloaded video clips (films) and i'm using morpheus to do this. Files have downloaded but cannot convert nore play due to coedec. (what is coedec) How can I get passed the coedec problem?

I have full sound on files but no visuals i'm using cheetha to burn all is good but coedec error!

To some more experienced this may be realy stupid so I do apologise but when I say i'm a pc I do mean it!!!

Any suggestions on file sharing? burning? or links to idiots guides?

    Many thanks

  2. Use a program like gspot to find out the codec, then download the codec. The burning is a separate issue.

Load the file into Gspot, look to the right under 'video', that will tell you which codec is needed.

...then look under tools, codecs (here at videohelp) to find and download it.
