I just updated the firmware on my DVD Player (Onkyo DV-SP502S) to play MPEG4 (divx/Xvid). I have Nero 6 and would like to know what settings I should choose to burn the avi files to :
1) a regular CD?
2) a DVD?
Thanks in advance

I'll post a guide I created a while back on these thing's soon .
You may only need the burning part , but the whole thing will be up for all use then .
Keep an eye on the guide's section , it'll be up in 2 day's . -
Use the DVD-ROM (ISO) template of Nero Burning. Just drag your files to the compilation window. Burn.

If you standalone supports avi files, then all you have to do is burn the files as data.
Google is your Friend -
Ah ok so the ISO template for either DVD or CD will do the job. Great thanks for the replies.

Hello!,
I would like to know where did you get or find the firmware update for your onkyo player?.
I have not found a place or a site where these firmwares could be found.
Thanks
