This screenshot of Gspot shows a XviD file with a vertical resolution of 264, which is NOT a multiple of 16.

So far I understood that hor. and vert. resolutions of XviD files must be multiples of 16, but this one isn't, yet it plays perfectly on all my players.

So, can anyone please explain to me what is going on here?[/img]

I believe more current versions only need to be multiples of 4 (or perhaps even 2)

  3. Current Xvid requires only a multiple of 2.
