Hi
I would like to rotate one of my digital camera videos with virtual dub.
The problem is, I can not decompress it
Virtual dub opens the video, and I see nothing, only a bar of 309 frames and a grey screen.
When I scroll I get the Error code - 2 . "The source image format is not acceptable".
I can play the video with Windows Media Player fine (now)
But I had problems with that too first. I had to remove the "AVI Draw" codec until Windows Media Player uses the "MJPG Decompressor". Now the video is playing.
What can I do? What codec do I need for virtual dub?
Gspot says that this video can be decoded with
"MJPG Decompressor"
Bitrate 14923 k , FPs 30,
A render test is succesful.
Sorry, I can not find any answers to that...and I search since 3 days now... I get a little bit upset about that thing. Hope someone can help me
Thanks
Bodo

Hello
Sorry, got a new version...and it seems as if the latest VD version is able to open the video (but gives a Warning, that Philips DV Codec claims to decompress this video, but maybe crash...and I should get a new version)
Anyway, at the moment I see a video....

Philips DV? There is a thread going currently about an old Panasonic DV codec. You might want to look it up, because it is the same issue (it claims to decode everything, when obviously it can't and can block legitimate decoders from being used).
