Hi all, i'm trying to make a cd with some mpg video files ( already converted to vcd) and some jpeg pictures to play on a standalone dvd player.

I've had a go with Nero etc but failed Bit of a novice with this.

Any advice please weather it can be done?

    Cheers.

Authored as VCD with VCDEasy - no problem! VCDEasy has a built in "jpg to mpg still" function.

For what it's worth, I have made VCDs before with VCDeasy that had both MPEG video clips and stills and they worked fine. Nero isn't best for VCD authoring. Usually it's OK, but it does take some liberties with the standards that can cause problems for some standalone players. I don't know about now, but in the past Pioneer DVD players refused to play Nero authored VCDs with still photos because Nero didn't do the right thing to convert the photos.
