Hello,
I have narrowed down my research to these two players, the Panasonic S42 and the Samsung P366.
Does anyone have (or know) both of these? Could anyone help me in my choice?
Please notice that I am in Brazil, and so other brands and models may not be available here.
I read that the only way to hack the S-42 is via infra red, such as using a Palm and Omniremote. I have these, but how does one enter that long code in Omniremote?
Thanks,
Mickets

I'm not familiar with either of those, but If you need a region free player, you should shop for and purchase a region free player. Hacks don't always work and if they damage the player, it is not covered by warranty. Better to just buy what you need in the first place.

Hmmm... thanks for the tips.
After researching down here in Brazil (where I live), I opted for the Panasonic S42 (after several people having problems with the Samsung).
Pretty good, I must say.
I don't need a region-free player, but I tend to shop looking in to the future. This one does not come region-free, and apparently hacks for the Panasonic aren't very easy.
But eventually I did find a hack for it (but I have not tried it, since I don't need it).
It can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/yfd7ft.
Cheers,
