I keep encoding movies that way with no problems. Here's what happened with one:
Encode with CCE.... extract wav with VirtualDubMod and convert it to AC3 with ffmpeggui03c.
Movie is 25fps... I put .MPV and .AC3 on DVD-Lab pro, compile, burn with nero and movie's sound is out of sync!...![]()
Any clues?

Are the lengths of the WAV, MPV and AC3 the same?
