    Hello! I burned some SVCDs. Perfect, except I can't fast forward or rewind at all. Goes about 2 seconds ahead, then skips back. I suppose I could chop the files into small pieces, but I'd like to avoid the 2-3 second pause between files.

    Hello.
    Could you tell me how you got a SVCD to work on the GE 1101p in the first place? I can't for some reason. Please post the settings and programs u used.

    maybe you could try ulead movie factory? It has chapter selections with unoticeable pauses during playback.

    No, this player does that when PBC control (which NERO always burns with) is on for some strange reason...use VCDeasy/VCDimager..and make an SVCD image file with PBC control off, and you will e able to FF/RW....however, if you dont want to do that, you still should be able to use the time search funtion to FF/RW with PBC control on the way it is now.....do a time jump to the point where you want to be.
