My computor keeps crashing when I play the new Ceasar IV from Sierra. I've played the other Ceasar games and can play other games but I keep getting the blue screen and crashing. The Microsoft crash idvisory screen tellls me it's a video card problem but that's all. I have a ATI Radeon 9250. I have plenty of drive space, 1MB RAM, and a 2.41GHz processor. Do I need to upgrade the video card and how do I do that? Any help would be appreciated.

Lad, this place is video conversion/edit/etc. help, not videogame / videocard help.

Can you just download the latest driver from ATI and see what happens?

If you've only got 1MB of ram I'm surprised anything works at all.
Assuming you've really got 1GB of ram, I'd suggest looking to your video card drivers.

Try running some stress tests like memtest86, prime95, cpu burn, ortho, any of the @home's, 3dmark's... If you can run those for several hours without error and you meet or exceed the minimum hardware specs for the game then hardware is not your problem. try updating drivers, look for game updates, reinstall...

As said, an immediate crash would seem to indicate driver problems. A delayed crash would point more to video/CPU overheating maybe.
