Has anyone here used myFairTunes with success? Do you know if it works only on music or if it will work on the iTunes TV shows?

I bought an episode of a TV show from iTunes and am wanting to watch it on my TV (instead of my computer), so I'm wondering if myFairTunes will remove the protection and make it so I can convert it to DVD, or if I should just get a long s-video (and audio) cable and run it in to my TV....

    Thanks for any help/advice.

Just out of curiosity, what's stopping you from trying it for yourself ?

  3. I haven't used it, but I don't think it works on video files, just audio. At least that's what I'll assume from reading the descriptions on the product's website, anyway.

My advice is not to buy anything from iTunes... DRM is evil...

A long S-Video cable isn't really that bad of an idea-- I have a 50ft S-Video cable going to my TV from my PC, and notice absolutely no quality loss in doing so. It's certainly easier than converting all of my files to DVD. Of course, none of my files have DRM anyway....

    Honest answer: lazy........

If I can save myself some download/converting time only to find out it doesn't work, then that's the way I'll go

That, and I posted this while I was still at work and didn't have access to my computer with the files on it

And I've read a bunch of the posts on the doom9 forum and can't see that is says that it does.

So I figured ask here. If nobody here knows then I'll try tomorrow after work.

That's kind of what I was thinking....

I wouldn't have, but they have a TV show I like that isn't out on DVD (or VHS, or anything), and right now it isn't being shown in re-runs either.....

That's what I will probably end up doing. I just thought if I could convert to DVD, I'd go that way.
