    Hi, I'm new here, and I need a bit of some help. I have some DVD's that I'd like to rip the subtitles from, but from what it looks, I have to also rip the DVD's into VOB before doing that. Is there any guides available for ripping & converting the DVD into a VOB, and then ripping the subtitles from the VOB as well? thanks!

    Rip the DVD in file mode. Then, the subtitles can be extracted in various formats. VobSub to get sub/idx, SubRip to OCR to text srt format.

    Okay and what software do I use to rip the DVD into file mode? This'll be my first time doing something like this, so I need some guides(to use Subrip too)
