Just finished encoding a wmv file with flix and it shows updsidown on WMP9 and shows ok on MCP4.x
What is the likely cause to show it the wrong way on WMP9?
    Thanks

Possible that by MCP4.x you mean Media Player Classic. In particular my build with a built in VP6 decoder and for WMP you are using Gabest's splitter with On2's decoder. So the cause would be On2's decoder over the Gabest's flv splitters built in one.

If it is my build, then it has a built in vp6 decoder.

Ahh! and then if I prompted to encode in MX/FLV mode it will show ok on WMP but it will not play on MPC
Whereas in Soresson FLV type 8 shows upside down

If FLV1's play in WMP, then they will play in MPC (ffdshow+internal flv splitter).

Everything I have that is a .avi or a .mpg video file plays upsidedown on my WMP but all play correctly on all other media players.
