  1. Help!
DVD Shrink freezes my computer every time when compressing anything.
It will make it through the 'analyzing' stage and then freeze during the encoding ... usually doesn't make it past 5%.
Then I have to manually turn off my computer ... completely frozen.

I used this program for 1 1/2 years without any problems ... and suddenly this happens.. ???
    I tried uninstalling + reinstalling ... didn't help.
I have about 60 GB free space on my hard drive, which was always plenty.

Any ideas? Something wrong with my hard drive?
    Thanks.

CPU overheating? Dusted your CPU cooler lately? (I know, I use to suggest this as an explanation to computer lockups, but I'm right at times...)

Try running FixVTS on the files before you shrink them. This program will fix any problems with the files. It has helped me with some problems.

Also ensure that you are using the lastest version of DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me.

I opened up my computer and dusted everything like you said ... and it works now! Awesome.
    Thanks so much.

Need to remember to clean that thing out a little more often.
