How to add subtitle to film before burning to dvd?

Hi everyone!

I got some indian videos in my pc, I have converted them to dvd files (Vob file). I want to know how to add subtitle before I burning them to dvd. I have read the forum about how to add subtitle. I just found it a bit hard. my videos are in the computer is not like I need to rip dvd to add a subtitle. is there an easier way to add subtitle?

I'll be really happy if someone could help me, because these films have taken lots of space in my computre.

You have several options:
Convert to mpeg dvd.
Author the mpeg dvd files with an authoring tool with builtin subtitle creating like ulead dvd workshop, dvd-lab pro.

or

Make the subs for the video with subtitle workshop, save as srt.
Add the subs and video in convertxtodvd and you will get a dvd with video and subs...but you can't make that advanced menus.

I have divxtodvd program. but is it possible if I use nero or I can't.

I have got another question, because there is a topic about demuxing. is that go with my case as well.
