O2 XDA II Charger Problems

Hey all!

Where i work we have a lost property section and if things are not claimed within 4 months then they are usally thrown away or can be taken, in this box was a O2 XDA II PDA, so i took this thing is its just the PDA nothing else so i have been lookin for a charger on ebay and found this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/O2-XDA-II-IIi-II2-2-2I-2s-SYNC-CHARGE-CABLE-CRADLE-NEW_W0QQitemZ...QQcmdZViewItem) i bought one of these to charge, sync etc.

Now i recieved the item today only to find that i would not fit in the charging bay, the thing is the cable do have printed on it O2 XDA II, this is quite frustrating and i was wondering if any of you guys would be able to help me in someway?

I am willing to provide more info or pics if need be!

Update!

I managed to get hold of a mains charger and docking station from ebay again same problem, Main charger will not connect in to the slot at the bottom of the PDA and same woth the docking station, however there is a slot on the back of the docking station where a battery can be placed now this does charge but i will also like to be able to sync the PDA with the PC any ideas why the cable/station will not fit in the bottom of the PDA?
