    Hi all,

I have what I think is a strange problem. Whenever I stream video from the internet it's the brightness of the video is really dark.

For example when I look at movie trailers at quicktime.com it's that problem. But it's the same thing if I try Windows Media Player or Real Player. It's also the same thing if I download the files.
Dowloaded .avi and DVDs have the same problem.

However Google Video and looking on normal images like jpegs works fine.

I guess it's some sort of codec problem. Right now I'm running K-Lite Codec Pack 2.77.

I also have the latest video card drivers.

    Any ideas? Thanks

I suspect it is overlay settings for your video card. They don't affect things like google because othey use flash, however WMP and quicktime do not. Open a video in WMP, then while it is playing, choose Show Enhancements, and check the settings for brightness/contrast etc.
